Rally Świdnicki-Krause 2015: victory was very close

43.Rally Swidnicki-Krause was the initial round of the Polish Rally Championship. This year C-Rally Academy supports two young crews in the nation's  challenge: Tomasz Kasperczyk and Damian Syty as well as Filip Nivette with Kamil Heller (both crews on Ford Fiesta R5). Filip and Kamil have made an excellent debut on their new rally car.
 
Filip and Kamil showed fantastic performance from the very beginning of the rally. They pushed hard and won one stage and took the lead after SS5 (first one in the leg two) leaving much more experienced drivers such as Grzegorz Grzyb and Tomasz Kuchar behind their back. Unfortunately the C-Rally crew finished their  driving at SS8 "Dziećmorowice-Walim", very close to Bystrzyckie Lake  -  Fiesta R5 slipped off the road and Filip not able to come back on the track.
 
Tomek Kasperczyk and Damian Syty showed a very quick pace too. They occupied 4th position overall until SS6. On a very fast, slippery and tricky section in Walim they hit the root and broke the rear wheel.
However, both crews made an excellent performance.
 

- Neither crews nor any car suffered in these unfortunate incidents. We are really satisfied with their pace, especially on wet and slippery roads. Stages and conditions of Swidnicki Rally have always been very challenging. It is a pity but sometimes "so it goes" in rallies. Right now we are centering our attention on Karkonoski Rally. We have to prepare cars and made some testing - Krzysztof Oborki, general manager said.

 
Karkonoski Rally will be held on 15-17 May in Jelenia Góra.
